Description
The best part of being a kid growing up in Boston, were summer days spent at Revere Beach. There was a fabulous amusement park complete with the biggest roller coaster ride around. When I got all my rides in, I would walk on down to the boulevard and grab a huge slice of pizza from Bill Ashes, then top it off with an ice cream cone from Howard Johnson's. Today the amusement park is gone and in its place are fancy condos and many of the eateries have all but disappeared. I was glad to see that some of the old things I remembered are still there . . . like this clock . . .
