Naschmarkt (Nibbles Market). The location itself is fascinating: the Wienfluss, Vienna's second river, was roofed over during the 19th century, so the stalls erected on the roof are basically on top of the river. Naschmarkt is one of Vienna's liveliest markets and a great place to shop for foods from all over the world. While here, you can sample some local and international treats.
I had such a wonderful time savoring so many delectables that I returned the next day hoping for more . . . was I ever surprised when I found it all locked up and deserted! It was Sunday.
