The Letter was taken in the Mud Spring Cabin which was built in 1897. The cabin was used by Kid Curry and Sundance Kid as a hideout before they attempted to hold up the Red Lodge Bank in Red Lodge, Montana.
The Mud Spring Cabin is one of 26 authentic buildings and an extensive collection of horse-drawn vehicles and memorabilia from the Wyoming frontier days. Old Trail Town exists today as a memorial to the uniquely American experience known throughout the world as "the Old West".
