Artist's Description
This church is located in the Denver's Baker Historic District and landmark neighborhood. Beautiful Victorian and Queen Anne homes fill this neighborhood as well as lots of cool shops, swanky restaurants and sophisticated art galleries.
This church ~ First Avenue Presbyterian Church ~ was built in 1906 by Montana Fallis in the English Gothic Revival style.
This image uses a technique called HDR where I took several shots of the same image at different exposures then later merged them together. Then I added a bit of texture to give it a painterly feel.
About Juli Scalzi
I'm just a girl with wanderlust in my blood, a camera in my hand and a keen eye for all things beautiful. When I am not out traveling about and shooting stock photos for Shutterstock, Getty/iStock and Dreamstime, I love creating surreal images - many of which you can find in the Make Believe gallery. Thank you for stopping by and have a beautiful day!
